Amazon’s Kindle Fire is priced at $199 only, the cheapest quality tablet in the market. Analyst with Ticonderoga securities, Brian White, said that Apple may release iPad mini with a suggested price of about $200, probably within $250. Wish it to be about $200, but also wish it to be as good as iPad 2, at least, with 8GB of storage.
iPad 2 comes with a 9.7-inch display screen and is priced at $500. It is rumored that iPad mini will come with a 7.85-inch display screen to compete with the 7-inch Kindle Fire.
Well, the word ‘mini’ does not only refer to the smaller size of iPad. It also refers to its price. Some analysts, blogs and websites suggests that Apple may not come with two iPads, but it will be reducing the price of iPad 2 to as low as $249.
Well, this is true that if Apple reduces the iPad price to as low as $250, or introduces iPad mini, Apple will once again be the leader in tablet market, grabbing the potential share of its competitors.
